  • John Galt Gifts - For the Freedom Lover

Why did we create this blog?

Over a few drinks one night, a few of us liberty-lovers decided that we were fed up and didn't want to take it any more.

We were sick and tired of the way our government is operating - spending horrendous amounts of money, invading our privacy, funding causes we don't believe in, taking our hard-earned money from us and spending it on things that are just plain unconstitutional.

So, we decided to start a blog where we could share ideas, great articles, cartoons, and other liberty-loving things we think are interesting and that support more freedom in this country.

Simply put, the purpose of this blog is to create a place where Liberty Loving people can exchange information about the Liberty-Losing things that are going on in America.

Why is this Blog so Colorful? ;-)

We made this blog black and white because we believe that the decisions facing our government officials should be much more black and white - not a zillion shades of gray.

In keeping with the belief that our founding fathers had very clear ideas of what our government should and should NOT be doing, we believe that all governmental decisions should be made using three key questions:

1. Does this decision support the right of the individual to control his or her own body, actions, and speech?

2. Does this decision support the right of the individual to own property and to pursue the enterprise of his choice?

3. Does this decision help individuals defend themselves from force and fraud?

If government officials can not answer YES to these questions, then the decision being made needs to be a resounding NO.
